I just watched the movie Meet Joe Black. Quite an awesome movie. I can't believe it bombed at the box office. It's very slow. Which I normally hate. But in this case, the slowness was simply great writing and acting.
I think bottled water is the perfect sign of the times. There's little to no proof that it's healthier than tap water. The plastic bottles themselves are an environmental disaster. The fossil fuels required to ship them are contributing to another environmental disaster. Yet, we sit there at the movie theatres watching An Inconvenient Truth sucking on a plastic container full of water worried about a future we are responsible for. Too convenient. Too hypocritical!
