Of late, I'm being harassed by someone who claims to be an employee of Tribe. His username is P-Air W and Tribe portfolio is here; http://www.tribe.net/person/8c356f12-6213-4ae8-b5eb-1862b153c3da. I'd love to find out if this is really an employee of Tribe or not. Please send me an email, if you might know. He originally sent me an Tribe mail regarding a suspect user that I have as a Tribe friend. I responded "Sorry, I don't know anything." He persisted and I replied "Sorry, but I don't participate in witch hunts." He then sent me the following Tribe mail, in Italics.
Well Randy, already I can say that I appreciate your confirmation that she is indeed a witch. Thanks for all your help. It's evident that you have a good sense for how people in a community work together to make it a better place. You're fm Canada hunh? I guess things are changing there as much as they are in the U.S....sad.
I emailed this entire conversation to feedback@tribe.net and will send it to a few friends I have at Tribe.
Update: I received another reply from this user, insisting they are an employee of Tribe. In his response, he says "If you need any assistance removing yourself from Tribe feel free to let me know if I can facilitate this for you." This makes me doubt further that this is an employee of Tribe, as I would doubt that a Tribe employee would harass its users and compound this by encouraging them to delete their accounts.
Update: I received enough proof from P-Air W to believe he is an employee of Tribe and have asked him to delete my account. Wow! Seems this P-Air is one of the top execs at Tribe. I cannot believe that one of the top execs at Tribe wrote this to one of their users.

"Randy, I am indeed an employee of Tribe, and will make sure that your note is forwarded to the proper folks within the company so that you can be assured that it has received the proper attention. My reason for interacting w/you was very simple, to ascertain whether a member was indeed a member versus someone trying to scam our service. This happens to us at times.
If you feel harrassed by my questions and responses, I certainly respect that and will cease to communicate further. If you need any assistance removing yourself from Tribe feel free to let me know if I can facilitate this for you. I'm truly sorry you feel this way, and let me be the first to say that your contributions to the community will be sorely missed as you have indeed been a valuable contributor to the various Tribe communities in which you have participated.
Good luck with whatever decision you choose to make on this matter.
Cheers... "
I still haven't received confirmation from anybody as to whether this is really an employee of Tribe. Time will tell, as I emailed the conversation to three friends at Tribe. This last comment (all true) makes me think this really is an employee of Tribe. Wow! How do they expect to succeed while harassing their users?
Randy
Hey man, nice mountain... too bad about the mole infestation.
Don't you think you're blowing this a bit out of proportion? I saw nothing in the interaction that was overtly harrassing or threatening... just a bit off-the-mark comment about Canada.
Also, there is a handy-dandy little "ignore" button on every tribe profile you view, for just this kind of situation. If you no longer want to have any dealings with that person, click, and voila, they're ignored. Now, if you already did this, and this supposed tribe employee then used their power as an employee to continue contacting you, then you have a case which should then be sent to abuse@tribe.net.
Finally, it's cyberspace man... I talk to hundreds of jackasses who I wouldn't piss on if they were on fire. I don't go running to administrators everytime it happens. Hell man the last time I went running to support, it was because my entire yahoo account had been hacked and jacked. Ignore the guy, have a drink, relax, and tribe on...
