I've had to start writing my own Gmail SPAM filters today. I've received hundreds of SPAM with the phrase *MXON* in it. They are almost identical, except for the number of *'s. This seems to escape Gmail's SPAM filter and I've setup a rule to forward anything with that string to the Trash (you can't send it to the SPAM bin with a rule). I'm also receiving a lot of email from a user called 'viagara'. How this gets past Gmail's SPAM filter is beyond me. Last, I've received hundreds of identical SPAM with badly escaped markup and the phrase "The requested URL was not found on this server". Even after marking a hundred of these identical emails as SPAM, they are still by-passing Gmails SPAM filter. Very frustrating day.
