There's a meme going around called "Why I Blog?" Here's some recent blog entries along that meme.

So, before I get tagged and risk an infection, let me move this meme forward and tag some friends.

I blog for a very simple reason. I'd rather blog, then work for McDonalds or any other company. I think of blogging as my full-time job. Yes, I could be writing code for someone right now and getting paid to write that code, but I make almost as much sitting at home in my basement blogging. So, I do it full-time. Well, not really. I only blog a few hours per day. I spend most of my day doing other work.

Now, I didn't start blogging to replace my full-time job. I started blogging because you could participate in the global thinkgroup called the blogosphere. That was cool! I still like that part of the job (blogging). In fact, that's why I do this at lower pay, then get a real job at higher pay.

I thought it would be fun to track the growth of the "Why I blog" meme through a blog tag tree (like a family history tree). This makes it easy to know who has been tagged already, and to get to everyone's answer really easy.

Blogging is way better than McDonald's!

I like this idea of being a boss for you and, yes, blogging offer much more than McDonald's does. They offer no sports tickets no anything else, only so called fun for kids and a lot of trouble for their body afterwards. Man you’re right!
